About Us
We publish a free, modern browser version of Rummy — the classic matching card game — with 2, 3, and 4-player tables, hints, auto-meld, and a layout that works on any screen.
Our craft
Draw. Meld. Go out.
Read the table, build your sets and runs, and empty your hand first. That loop is everything we design around.
Cards, one deck
Player tables
Bot opponents
What we make
rummycardgame.app is the site behind our version of Rummy. The product is a single-player card game against computer opponents: draw from the stock or discard pile, build sets and runs, lay cards off onto any meld on the table, and discard to finish your turn. Empty your hand first to win the round.
We are not an app-store publisher and there is nothing to download. The game is the website. That keeps load times short, works on phones and desktops alike, and avoids an account wall. Best scores, move counts, fastest wins, and streaks live in local browser storage on your device.
If you are comparing this to another Rummy site, this page only speaks for rummycardgame.app. The rules and scoring described in our how-to-play guide and FAQ match this exact build.
Our story
Rummy has one of the longest, most branching histories of any card game people still play daily. We treat that as a responsibility to get one clean ruleset exactly right.
Games that build sets and runs by drawing and discarding trace back to Conquian, a Spanish and Mexican card game documented in the 1800s. "Rummy" spread through the English-speaking world in the early 1900s and quickly branched into dozens of variants — Gin Rummy, Canasta, 500 Rum — all sharing the same core loop.
Unlike many classic card games, Rummy never settled into one fixed ruleset. Card rooms, home tables, and eventually digital versions each nudged the rules — this build follows Basic (Traditional) Rummy: sets and runs, one draw and one discard per turn, first to empty their hand wins.
rummycardgame.app is an independent, modern implementation of that ruleset. The rules are unchanged; what is new is a rendering that is smooth on a phone, a table that keeps every pile on one screen, synthesized sound with a real mute, and quality-of-life tools — hints, auto-meld, turn-scoped undo — a paper deck never had.
What we stand for
Open the page and a hand is already dealt. No account wall, no download, no splash video — the cards are on the table before you finish reading this sentence.
2, 3, or 4-player tables, real Rummy scoring, and bots that play a sensible game. Nothing is gated behind a "pro" toggle and nothing nags you to install an app.
Best score, fewest moves, fastest win, and win streak per table size live on your device. We do not hold your record hostage behind a login, because there is no login.
The whole game is free forever. No energy meters, no interstitial video ads between rounds, no surprise paywall on the auto-meld button.
Who it is for
rummycardgame.app is a family-friendly, single-player game with no chat and no store. A poor fit if you want live multiplayer; a good fit if you want the real game of Rummy, exactly as you remember it, on whatever screen is nearby.
A round takes five to fifteen minutes. Rummy is built for a phone on the couch or a browser tab between tasks, not a long campaign.
There is no clock forcing a move. The entire challenge is what you keep, what you discard, and what you can read from the bots.
Your record stays on the device you played on. That is a deliberate trade: instant play and real privacy, with no cloud restore.
Why this site
Rummy has countless implementations online. This one exists to ship a single honest, fast version — correct rules, real bot opponents, and no clutter.
2, 3, and 4-player tables are each first-class, with their own saved stats, so switching table size never feels like starting over.
A hint that points at a real move, auto-meld to sweep up the obvious plays, and turn-scoped undo so a misclick never costs you the round.
No auto-playing video, no fake "download our app" banners, no dark patterns around the settings. The how-to-play guide and FAQ describe this exact engine, not a generic write-up.
How we build
The game runs entirely on the web: fast loads, tap and keyboard controls, and progress that stays local unless you clear your browser data. We use lightweight analytics to see what helps players — never to gate the game behind a profile. The engine on the home page is the one described on our rules pages, so search results and the live game never drift apart.
Phone, tablet, and desktop share one table. Tap on a touchscreen, or use the keyboard shortcuts for drawing, sorting, hints, and undo.
Best score, fewest moves, fastest win, and streak per table size are stored locally. You own the continuity of your record without signing up.
We watch aggregate usage through Google Analytics to improve pacing and polish. Details are in our Privacy Policy — never as a sales pitch.
